Alberto is an Italian tenor whose artistic and pedagogical work explores the intersection between classical vocal performance and modern recording technology. He graduated with highest distinction (110/110) from the Conservatorio “G.F. Ghedini” in Cuneo, earning a Master’s Degree in Opera Singing under the guidance of Fernanda Costa, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Renaissance and Baroque Singing with Barbara Zanichelli.
His academic research focused on “The Evolution of the Verdi Tenor’s Vocality”, culminating in an original study on how recording technologies have shaped the perception and aesthetics of the operatic voice from Enrico Caruso to the present day.
In recent years, Alberto has deepened his expertise in sound engineering and voice recording techniques with Fabrizio Argiolas at High Quality Sound (Nichelino). This experience has profoundly influenced his teaching method: in his lessons, he combines traditional bel canto technique with high-fidelity sound analysis, using professional microphones such as the Neumann U87 and AKG C414, and SSL preamps to provide singers with precise auditory feedback.
In 2020, he founded his own recording and teaching studio in Moncalieri, where he continues to coach singers, record classical and contemporary repertoire, and develop innovative pedagogical tools based on vocal recording. As a performer, he is active in both opera and chamber music, with a particular focus on 19th-century Italian repertoire.
Alberto teaches both in person and online, offering singers a highly personalized approach that merges vocal artistry with the science of sound. Fluent in English, French, and German, he works with students and collaborators across Europe.
