Yvain
Piano
Yvain is a Spanish pianist with an active career as a performer and teacher. In 2021,
he graduated with distinction from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama
under the guidance of renowned mentors Peter Bithell and Caroline Palmer.
Based in London, Yvain's international appearances include features on Spain's national
radio, RTVE, and Germany's Deutschlandfunk Kultur. In the United Kingdom, his
achievements include performances at the Oxford Philharmonic Friend’s Evening,
Hastings Chamber Music Festival, Royal Over-seas League and the Milton Court Concert
Hall.
Additionally, Yvain had the privilege of recording at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
As a member of Duo Fabulae, Yvain has earned numerous international awards,
including 1st prize in the accompanist category at the SCO competition and 3rd prize at
the Birmingham Chamber Music Competition. Moreover, Yvain is a recipient of the
Guildhall School Futures Fund.
At present, Yvain is a visiting piano teacher at the Tonbridge School and the DaCapo
Music Foundation where he teaches one-to-one and ensemble lessons.
